Quick Overview: Beautiful Creatures is an enchanting novel that pulls you in on page one and takes you on a ride filled with mystery, forbidden romance, a story line that is unlike any other and writing that keeps you guessing all the way till page 563.

I tried to explain why Beautiful Creatures is so good to Stacy, and there are just no words. Garcia and Stohl have plucked things from the paranormal world we all knew and enjoyed and turned it into something new. It was so refreshing to read about something not entirely different from what I'm used to but something that was still close enough to things I did understand that it didn't take much for me to understand.

If you are looking for a book that is a lengthy but worth-while read, this is the book for you. It isn't quick, or light. But it is a story that pulls you in and engulfs you in Ethan's world.

I was a little wary about reading a book from a male perspective. Normally the books I read have female protagonists, so I thought it would be difficult to connect with Ethan. It wasn't. Something so eerie and magical happens right off page one, you cannot help but to jump in. I felt his pain as he felt it, I felt passionate when he felt passionate. Now, I know that part of that is just the joy of reading, but another large part of it was because of how well-written and thought-out this book is. I am squirming in my pj's impatiently waiting for Beautiful Darkness to come out.
